Everyone is getting married and i’m still single, I feel like a freak. One of the most uncomfortable feelings is standing at a friend’s wedding, knowing all your friends are finding true love except you. It can honestly make you feel like a total freak and outcast. When every single one of your single friends starts to marry off it may make you feel pressurized.
Please do not think that you are all alone in feeling like this, there are many people throughout the world who are in exactly the same boat as you are in.
Help everyone is getting married and i’m still single
Firstly you need to know that everyone gets married at different times. There are many people in the world who choose not to get married at all for various reasons. There are people who get married much later in life. There are also people who get married when they are very young. Everyone is different and it would be illogical to get married to the wrong person simply because your friends were getting married.
Single can be fun and exciting
Just because your friends are getting married that does not mean that you should not enjoy your life. You should genuinely use this opportunity to have fun being single. Think about it like this, you can meet as many new guys as you want to meet. You can have fun going out till any time of the night. You are totally free and you should really enjoy it while it lasts. You more than likely won’t be single forever so while you have the opportunity; try to make the most out of it.
You are not a freak
I can’t emphasize this enough, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You may just be waiting for the right guy or you may not be ready to get married yet. You may also want to spend a couple of years with a partner to see if he is the right person to spend the rest of your life with. Regardless of why you are still single or not married, I can promise you that your reasons are very valid and real.
Marriage should be forever
There is no reason at all that you should feel bad for not being married. Marriage should be a commitment that you make for the rest of your life. The rest of your life is a very long time and it is not something that should be taken lightly. You should never ever consider marrying somebody because you feel bad that you are not married. When you do get married, it should be once and for the rest of your life. Rather wait till the right guy comes along, this will make you much happier in the long run.

Always remember that marrying the wrong person can end up in years of pain and anguish. I am not saying that your friends are marrying the wrong person, but I am rather saying to understand the reality of getting married. Divorce is one of the worst things that you can ever experience in your entire life and if you can, rather avoid it at all costs. Many people who have been divorced regret having rushed into marriage so quickly. With this being said when you are ready to get married be 100 percent sure that this is the right person for you.
You get to have fun at weddings
One of the best things about being single at a wedding is being open to new guys. Weddings can be vast amounts of fun, especially if you are single. You get to meet all sorts of interesting and new guys. You can drink, dance and have fun. Take this opportunity to enjoy weddings and to rather think of it as a giant party. You can also use it as an opportunity to meet all sorts of new and exciting guys.
Although it may not be ideal to be single at a wedding, you need to make the most of it. Try looking at the positive side of things as opposed to the negative. At the end of the day all you need to do is change your perspective and you will be surprised at how much fun you will start having. By doing this you will never need to think again, everyone is getting married and i’m still single.
